Japanese Bookbinding, Part 2

A new course with artist and bookbinder Rita Austvoll.

In this workshop, we will create a Japanese binding with hard covers and a decorative cover paper. The folded sections will be arranged so that the fold is on the right-hand side of the book.

Participants will sew the book using one of the four traditional Japanese stitching patterns.
