Production

The Norwegian Canning Museum is located in an old cannery. In the past, more than 100 people could be working here simultaneously. This exhibition lets you follow the production process in an old cannery and gives insight into the different jobs. It shows how the industry changed – from the time when everything was done by hand, to mass production with the help of machines. The machines were mostly designed and built in Stavanger.
